Saturday Thought

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy

  1. I had just had my baby son and was in the hospital when we heard that JFK was assassinated. Most of the baby boys born that day were being named John. My son wasn't one of them. We named him Thomas in honor of his Godfather~
It was such a sad, senseless and shocking day for America~

  2. I love it! Another good quote from JFK to share that I have always liked a lot: "Ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Country." ~ John F. Kennedy

  3. Fabulous post for Saturday Thoughts …
I also think the quote that Lady Caer Morganna included in her comment is excellent.

    All the best Jan

  4. Oh yes. I was brought up on 'Actions speak louder than words...'. And they do.
