Thursday Odds and Ends

What a beautiful evening we had.  Christmas in July.  Weather was perfect and company even better--my daughter, her hubby, my son, his girlfriend, their roommate, my goddaughter, and her four children.  Really enjoyed it.

My favorite ladies.  Learned so much about them in this magazine.  For example, Betty White was originally cast as Blanche and vice versa, and they ended up changing it.  Good decision.  Also, Dorothy hated cheesecake.  LOL!!!  And their earrings were all clip-ons.  They were in pain.

Me and my daughter back then.  High hair and skinny body.

A recent picture of my daughter and  I.

30 years ago in the Village.

Another photo of Christmas in July.

This is some kind of huge bean plant my Chinese neighbor grows.  This one ended up climbing up into the tree.

This is NOT supposed to be a garbage pail.  At one point, plants were growing in here.

I love taking pictures of the clouds.

This place serves the best homemade ice cream.

  6. We all had that big hair back then. Oh, what I would give for some of that back. Aging is not kind to follicles.

I never watched Golden Girls when I was younger. My girls got into that show when they were in college and all are big fans. I bought them The Golden Girls game as Christmas gifts and they loved it.

  7. So nice seeing your photographs, especially Christmas in July.
The clouds in your photograph look good, especially how the sunlight is trying to shine though.

    All the best Jan
