Stormy Day

Although the sun is shining, and it is such a beautiful day outdoors, somehow I am not feeling intune with the world around me today. It has been one of those days here at my job...a stormy day, indeed ; hence, I am hours late with my posts and, alas, my mind has been in a fog as I try to sort out the events of the day. Nothing violent, nothing earth-shattering...just an aura that will not fade away. I have seen clients take on these moods and 'act out' during the time the Moon is full, but at a Dark Moon? I have to say, this is a first for me. And since I cannot think clearly, my mind has turned to poetry which has always been known to clear the cobwebs. Here is one I read which reminds me of the world around me today.

Love is Enough

Love is enough; thought the World be a-waning,
And the woods have no voice but the voice of complaining,
Though the sky be too dark for dim eyes to discover
The gold-cups and daisies fair blooming thereunder,
Though the hills be held shadows, and the sea a dark wonder
And this day draw a veil over all deeds pass'd over,
Yet their hands shall not tremble, their feet shall not falter;
The void shall not weary, the fear shall not alter
These lips and these eyes of the loved and the lover.

(By William Morris 1834-1896)

  2. Oh Dear One, I'm so sorry that today is being this way. :-( Yes, I too see bits of "weirdness," around some Full Moons. But never thought of it, with the New Moon or Dark of the Moon. But I certainly believe you. And am so sorry you have to go through this kind of a day.

And now I see that the first commenter, has been seeing such, in posting today, too. Perhaps we should watch for it, next New/Dark Moon? Well, be ready for it, and not be surprised, if it appears, that is. I don't mean to 'watch for,' in a "It Will Happen" way, of course.

    Gentle hugs,
    Aunt Amelia

  3. I usually have very low energy by the dark of the moon. Luckily, it bounces back as the moon waxes!

"...fear shall not alter..." Ahhh - words to live by!

  4. Maybe a lot of us had these wandering around feelings because this is a actually when there is a 'corner' being turned in our Universe - the moon reaching the corner where it turns from waning to waxing.... kind of like making a sharp turn in a fast car. Don't know otherwise. Of course we were left wafting around in a moon void course time span there after the moon sharply turned to waxing...
    Hmm, don't know.
