Tuesday Ramble

Good Tuesday morning.  Got some good news from the center yesterday.  You know how all the classes keep getting canceled.  Well, we were told that a couple of our interns will be studying towards a medical career so they will take over the Wellness Group which was canceled the entire month of August and start up a NEW healthy nutrition cooking class.  YAY.  I am ecstatic.

So I went for a haircut yesterday after the center.

My new haircut and color. (Did myself). Don't know why that eyebrow comes out looking like it has a big black blob on it because there is nothing there. Comes out like that and every picture. Had to run to the mirror to see what was going on in there was nothing there; it looks just like the other eyebrow. Spooky.

Still waiting for my new metrocard, but a friend of mine who works for transit explained that people were abusing the half fare cards.  They'd buy a bunch of them and give them to their friends.  So the MTA now limits to only one.  Only takes a few to ruin it for others.  I am thankful that she has been helping me.  She has been bringing them to the center, and I buy them from her.  She has saved me from running about to different stations trying to buy cards every day.  Not easy when you suffer from chronic pain.

Got two new books yesterday.

Sorry for my shadow. Try as I might, I couldn't get rid of it.
Think I read this one before.  A good one to read again.

Today I am off to the center again.  Computer class in the morning and art in the afternoon.  Finally.  I nagged her every week.

Have a wonderful day.

  1. Love the cut and color!
I've been debating whether to whack mine all off again or not. It's mid back or so right now. At best, I need the split ends dealt with.
Glad to hear classes will pick back up, the healthy cooking sounds fun.

    1. I love short hair. Always had long hair and all I did was tie it back in a pony tail. This is so easy to care for.

  2. I am not game to cut (let alone colour) my own hair. Well done you.
And a big hooray for a new Wellness Group.

    1. I used to cut my own hair as well. But now that I keep it short, I let them do it.

  8. Very nice hair cut and color. Short hair is so easy. The Ray Bradbury looks good - I will have to see if I can find a copy.
