The Veil Is Getting Thin

As I went out walking this fall afternoon,
I heard a whisper whispering.
I heard a whisper whispering,
Upon this fine fall day...
As I went out walking this fall afternoon,
I heard a laugh a'laughing.
I heard a laugh a'laughing,
Upon this fine fall day...
I heard this whisper and I wondered,
I heard this laugh and then I knew.
The time is getting near my friends,
The time that I hold dear my friends,
The veil is getting thin my friends,
And strange things will pass through.

Blessed Samhain.  Happy Halloween.   The day is finally here, and I am loving it.  I found myself a long black wig, streaked with orange, over the weekend, and here I sit at my computer anxious for the festivities to begin.  There's candy bags to handed out to the clients and karaoke waiting to be sung...and tonight some horror flicks just aching to be watched.  Don't you just love this day?

Happy Halloween to all.

  2. I've got to get my wig adjusted!!! :-)

And think it would be a good idea, if I went next door, and put it on, for the 1 1/2 old 'Grand.' So he won't scream tonight, when they come to our door, trick-or-treating. :-)))))))))))

Gotta' let him know that it's STILL NANA, under that wig. :-)

    Gentle hugs,
"Nothing beats a haunted moonlit night on All Hallows Eve.... And on this fatal night, at this witching time, the starless sky laments black and unmoving. The somber hues of an ominous, dark forest are suddenly illuminated under the emerging face of the full moon."

  3. Good morning Mary.....I do love this day because of all you wonderful ladies who get so excited over it!! We have not had any trick or treaters for years in the area where we live....so I can live vicariously through you.
