Wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your suggestions about my rash. Summer has never kind to my skin, but it seems as if since I've gotten older, it affects me even worse. Guess it is because I am so fair. Prickly heat on my chest and arms, and I always break out in the heat from the metal on my watch band. They are controllable, but the one on my neck? That itch reminded me of childhood days when I'd picked up a case of poison ivy. So, thanks again. Will keep all of these things on hand. August is going to be a long month.
Beautiful quote! Mary, do you use laundry detergent without the scent and colors, etc. I get rashes from those detergents with all the additives. I like Tide-Free, and also Bounce-Free fabric softener sheets. I have noticed a major reduction in itchy skin. Just a thought. Take care!

ReplyDeleteBut I'd think that it would be better to stick with one, for a couple of days, to see if it will work. Unless you have an awful reaction, of course.
I'm no pharmacist and this is just my "Olden" common sense talking. He's not here a present, so I can't check with him. :-)
Good luck, my Dear! I too get irritations, here and there. And have developed what-to-do's over the years. Sometimes I have to alternate from one what-to-do, to another.
But! I do not have to spend time commuting on the Brooklyn to The City subway. Which time spent, must be worse for anything-which-is-bothering-you.
